What is Vision 2030?VISION 2030 grew out of a special leadership summit held in March 2005, in which more than 100 diverse community leaders learned about community visioning, heard from the leader of a community visioning effort in Greenville, S.C., and voted overwhelmingly to begin a similar process for Gainesville-Hall County.

The Citizens’ Vision of Our FutureThis is the final report of the VISION 2030 community visioning project for Gainesville- Hall County, Ga., which began in September 2005 and was concluded in June 2006 with the publication of this report.The 15 Big IdeasThe end product is a set of long-term goals and plans for Gainesville-Hall County that, we believe, the vast majority of citizens will recognize as their own and support wholeheartedly.
